I have noticed a little trend lately that I am completely falling for - leather strapping. Simplistic yet functional, leather straps are slowly showing face in all elements of home decor, predominantly in shelving systems with the use of belt like straps and finishings.
I have also seen leather straps used as hooks, furniture handles and as plant hangers and particularly like the blonde/tan tones of the leather used against white. There are many different ways this design feature could be applied in the home - think DIY leather handles on cupboards and drawers or replace old handles on baskets and storage boxes using upcycled belts.
